
Newton, MA – Lasell University Athletics is excited to announce three unique Graduate Assistantship positions for the Fall 2025 term. These positions offer the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in athletic communications, digital content creation, and recreational programming, all while earning a Master's degree. The positions provide students with hands-on experience, the chance to develop their professional skills, and a stipend to support their education.
1. Athletic Communications Coordinator
The Athletic Communications Coordinator will work directly with the Director of Athletic Communications to enhance the publicity and media coverage of Lasell's 17 varsity sports. This role involves creating content for social media, assisting with video production and web streaming, managing in-game statistics, writing press releases and game recaps, and supporting departmental events. The ideal candidate should have strong writing and communication skills, as well as familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and social media platforms. This position is perfect for students interested in sports media, public relations, and communications.
2. Athletic Creative and Digital Content and Social Media Coordinator
The Athletic Creative and Digital Content and Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for managing and creating content for Lasell Athletics' social media channels. The role will focus on building the Athletics brand through compelling digital content, photography, and videography. The coordinator will work to increase engagement across social media platforms, contribute to marketing strategies, and collaborate with the Sports Communications team. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, social media strategy, and video editing is preferred. This position is ideal for students interested in creative content, digital marketing, and social media strategy.
3. Intramural/Recreation Coordinator
The Intramural/Recreation Coordinator will work with the Assistant Vice President for Athletics to coordinate and oversee a comprehensive campus recreation program, including intramural activities and group exercise programs. Responsibilities include promoting events, managing equipment, collaborating with student organizations, and ensuring a safe and engaging environment for participants. The ideal candidate should be organized, outgoing, and comfortable with social media marketing. This position is an excellent opportunity for students interested in sport management, recreation programming, and community engagement.
