NEWTON, Mass. – With the Fourth of July in the rearview mirror, the Lasell College fall sports are in the windshield ahead and are within sight for the 2019 seasons. The Lasell athletics game schedules have been released and are now available online on the official website for Lasell Athletics – laserpride.lasell.edu.

All six Laser fall teams will open the campaign on Friday, August 30, with five teams on the road. The only home game during the (Labor Day) weekend will be Friday when the field hockey team hosts Becker College in a non-conference affair at Grellier Field at 4 p.m. The men's and women's cross country teams will be in nearby Wellesley, Mass., for the Wellesley College Invitational the same day, beginning at 6:15 p.m.

The two Laser soccer teams will be in tournament action over the weekend. The men's soccer team will compete in the Union/Skidmore Classic, facing Union College (N.Y.) on Friday, August 30, at 6:30 p.m. in Schenectady, N.Y., and meeting Skidmore College on Saturday, August 31, at 4:30 p.m. in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. The women's soccer team will play in the Gordon College Tournament, battling Gordon on Friday at 4 p.m. in Wenham, Mass., and facing Endicott College on Sunday, September 1, at 1 p.m. in Beverly, Mass.

The women's volleyball team will play four matches in two days at the Keuka College Invitational in Keuka Park, N.Y. The Lasers will tangle with Union College and Rowan University (N.J.) on Friday at 5 and 7 p.m., respectively, and come back to face Hilbert College (N.Y.) and host Keuka on Saturday at noon and 2 p.m., respectively.
